When milk teeth fall out prematurely, the permanent molars move forward, stealing space from the permanent premolars and causing overlapping of the canines and incisors. Regular visits to the dentist from the age of 5 years and the treatment of deciduous teeth considerably reduce dental crowding in permanent dentition.<br \/>\nDental crowding is treated with orthodontic fixed appliances, or with clear aligners (Invisalign). The type of treatment depends on the severity of each individual case.<\/p>\n<p><em>Case: Severe crowding treated with fixed appliances.
