The ceramic veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin layers of ceramic, which are applied to the outer surface of the tooth. They are used to change the color, shape and size of the teeth.
Porcelain veneers are very conservative, as they require a minimum reduction of tooth structure (less than 1 mm). They are used by the dentist to close spaces between the teeth, to lengthen or repair abraded or fractured teeth.

Clinical case I: The patient has a small lateral incisor (microdontia). A ceramic veneer was applied to the lateral incisor to restore its correct size and shape. The effect is completely natural.

Clinical case II: The patient has lower teeth abraded following night grinding (bruxism). The teeth were whitened with carbamide peroxide gel, and the central incisors were reconstructed with ceramic veneers. Note that the ceramic veneers give a very natural aesthetic result, hardly distinguishable from natural teeth.
